Hello, all of you wonderful people. My name is Ben Cruz. I am a 12th grade student who currently attends Buena Park High School in Fullerton. There, I enroll in classes such as ROP Visual Communications, AP 3D Art and ROP Art of Video Production.

Through Video Production, I learned how to write screenplays, make storyboards, plan on shooting specific scenes, stop motion, editing on Adobe Premiere Pro, and how to shoot different camera angles, including establishing, wide, long, medium, medium close-up, close up, extreme close up, point of view, over the shoulder, panning and tilting. Through ROP Visual Communications, I learned how to create images and artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I would later develop a passion for such work. AP 3D art allowed my artistic side to grow wild, experimental, and magical. I was even able to win an award during the Young Artists' Exhibition at the Muckenthaler Museum for a piece of work I did called "Pretty Much".

On my offtime, I would watch videos on Youtube or watch movies. I would often draw inspiration from these movies, such as "Escape From Tomorrow",  "Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared", "Zach King", "Stranger Things", and much more. Subsequently, these inspirations would later be present in my videos, offering weird or goofy entertainment. Another thing I would often do is create artwork for my friends, family, or myself, using a program called Gimp (free Photoshop). This gives me an opportunity to practice my technical skills on digital art, and ironically gets me more and more prepared to use photoshop, since it is very similar.

Thank you for taking your time in visiting my website and have a great day.
